Facebook Groups are…

  • dying a painfully slow death

  • increasingly irritating to use for business purposes

  • full of ads and notifications ––distractions!

  • subject to shutdown at any point, sometimes for no reason

  • moderated by Zuckerberg’s algorithms & all those damn ads!

So it’s time we got off FB + found a space where we can be our authentically unorthodox self, set our own rules, and make sure our members can actually find useful content inside!

Those groups are often so… “profesh” right?

We tend to post timidly, hoping we’re not violating group rules. (ie: starting posts with “Admins, delete if not allowed!” –or ‘is it okay to say **** in my post?!’)

It’s time to “get real” and be ourselves so people are more likely to get to know the real YOU.

It’s also harder to find useful resources, content, related older posts, etc. because Facebook was never meant to be a long-term resource. Your news feed is designed to help you find “new” stuff, which means old useful stuff gets buried! (After all, it’s not called an “oldfeed.” 😏)

  • These regular calls give you a chance to meet other members, have group coaching &/or Q&A sessions each month, and give me a chance to check in and actually get to know everyone!

    Because these sessions can easily wander or cover more in-depth situations/questions, they tend to be anywhere from 1-4 hours, but you can duck out any time & catch the replay later.

    My goal is to make sure everyone’s questions are thoroughly sorted before we part ways for the month!

    HOW THEY WORK:

    These are live group video calls (with recorded replays). I will typically answer any pre-submitted questions first, then if there’s free time left over after that, I’ll take live questions on the fly or go through Hot Seat rounds where each person has a chance at the mic if they want.

    Each call replay is posted in the corresponding event post inside the event calendar to keep things simple.

  • Flexible group calls (or ‘breakout sessions’); not recorded, no workshop or training. Just space for members to hop on & hang out together to…

    • chat with other members, or bounce ideas off each other.

    • use them as accountability meetings to show up & work through stuff you need to do but are lacking the motivation necessary to actually do it 😂 #beenthere

    These will look & work differently depending on the group & how members want to use them, fluctuating as needed!

  • These can cover topics Members suggest, –or resources & tutorials I know will be helpful or am excited about (such as explaining new Squarespace features, teaching a ‘secret’ little-known hack in Squarespace, or other tools that are commonly used in service-based businesses such as Dubsado, ClickUp, Notion, ConvertKit, etc).

    There is an easily accessible form inside this event calendar where you can submit suggestions or requests, along with questions for the calls.

  • I’ve been in lots of programs over the years where monthly Q&As have definitely been the norm, but time doesn’t stand still between these calls & a month can be a long time to wait if you have questions NOW as you work on your business!

    For that reason, the Discussion page in the group is a space where you can ask questions whenever you have them and get help in between the monthly calls.

    I’ll respond with whatever format will be most helpful for your question, whether it’s a comment, DM, or Loom video made just for you!

  • It forces you to put up or shut up. 😂 People who have a real dollar amount invested (not just their time) tend to get more out of whatever they invested in. More invested people will help me create a better learning environment for everyone!

    A subscription membership service like this also allows me to offer help to you at a much more affordable rate than a standalone course, it values my time spent in the group & creating content for it and it helps me recoup my own expenses to run the group itself.

    In a perfect world, I'd genuinely love for it to be totally free for everyone. That said, we’re not in a perfect world & like you, I also have bills to pay. Dedicating time to manage & help a group of people for free just isn’t a sustainable option for one person with a busy schedule. 😉

  • Probably! The Club’s platform is built using Circle.so and it currently supports payments in AUD, CAD, EUR, GBP, BRL, and USD!

  • Yes, of course! You're not locked into any long-term agreement if you don’t want to be. You can cancel, renew or change your Membership billing cycle whenever you need to, –no questions asked.

    The group is hosted by Circle, and it works with Stripe to process payments. Plans are managed inside your own Member account,which leaves me completely out of it & you have complete control.

  • Absolutely! That’s kind of the whole point: I wanted people to have full control over when & how long they want to stick around because everyone’s needs & budgets are different!

    Memberships are paid month-to-month or annually specifically for that reason. When you pay annually you get 1 month totally free.

    Month-to-month means you can leave anytime you wish by canceling your membership from your profile’s billing area. You can change your billing cycle at any time!

  • Yes! Of course. Details of how that works here.

    Pick the plan that works best for your budget, and when it's time to cancel, you can manage your plan, billing information & billing cycle within your Member profile & account area, just like you can with Squarespace or any other subscription service.

    Prorated refunds for canceled annual plans are manual and issued by request due to system limitations.

  • Refunds are not issued for canceled monthly memberships. If you cancel your plan, you will retain access until the end of the current month, then your access will end & your plan will not renew or charge you again.

    If you change the billing cycle for your membership, you will pay a prorated amount, then your plan access will change immediately.

    If you cancel your Annual membership and you want a refund, you must request a pro-rated refund for the remaining months left on your membership, excluding the active/current month. Due to platform payment limitations, prorated refunds cannot be issued automatically.

    • For example, if you start in January & cancel in June, a prorated refund of your payment unused time in the Membership can be issued at the discounted annual rate, since part of the year's membership was not used.

  • Yep! From within your Member’s account, in the Billing area, you can select a new billing cycle at any time, as long as there are options to switch between.

    This allows you to try out the Membership for an affordable monthly rate, and then decide to switch between Monthly & Annual if you prefer not to have monthly payments.

  • Yes! Of course! And I’d be happy to have ya back!

    Restarting a canceled subscription that is currently still active (hasn’t reached the final cancelation date yet) can be done from the Billing area of your Member account with a couple of clicks.

    Renewing a canceled subscription that is currently inactive (past the expiration date), can also be done from the Billing area of your Member account with a couple of clicks.

    Unless you deactivate your account after you cancel, your Member account is still available to you upon login, just without access to the Membership content & rooms; this way you can manage your own Billing details whenever/however you like!
